There was a big freeze last night. It got down in to the 20's. There was frost. It is supposed to freeze again tonight. It is suppsed to get down to 30 tonight.

Forecast for Sunday Night

Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming clear after midnight. Lows in the upper 20's. Northwest winds around 10 mph becoming light.

Severe Weather!

On Wednesday, April 10th, at about 8:00, thunder started cracking in the NWA region. Heavy rain started falling. Around 8:30 in the Fort Smith Area severe weather started happening. Hail around baseball size was reported. This lasted until 9:00. Heavy rain kept falling until 8:00 Thursday Morning. This weather outbreak caused Fort Smith, Van Buren, and Alma schools to be closed.

Rain = flooding

This weather has been crazy sice I got back from spring break. I heard that while I was gone, It rained 7 and one half inches. Then earlier this week, we got 2 and 1 half inches of rain. then just last night, yesterday afternoon, and the evening before that we got 4 inches of rain.
